I don’t want to be able to get any girl I want, by a flicker of my eyes. I don’t want to be able to buy my way out of any situation, with a substantial amount of wealth. I don’t want to be the envy of every man and fantasy of every woman. I don’t want to be known by everyone, with no friendships with anyone.

I just want to have character. To have values and beliefs. More importantly, I want to be defined by these. I want these things to be what people remember me for. Not a boat anchored on the French Riviera or a penthouse in New York.

I’d rather be a poor man of my word, than a rich liar
